A marriage is loving someone more than yourself.

A marriage is loving someone more than yourself. A marriage is loving someone more than yourself. A marriage is loving someone more than yourself.

About me

Why have I been a JP for over 30 years?

As  a Justice of the Peace, I  help couples move  from a bond of friendship to a legal  bond of marriage emphasizing that compromise is what makes marriage a lasting one.    I meet interesting people I could not have met any other way.   Although most couples are from United States of America, I've learned about Ghana, Liberia, Russia, Brazil, Equador and more from couples  marrying in Massachusetts.

Being a Justice of the Peace brings me in contact with the nicest people who often have ceremonies in locations familar to them but not to me. I I love all the experiences.

My life has been varied, but more than 30 years as a JP have been years I'll never forget.

From being a teacher in middle and high school, I jumped to being a COBOL programmer. A few years later, I received Certification in Gerontology and began working with senior centers, with the blind, and with hospice. Next, I ventured into real estate primarily as a property manager. After 13 years, I slid into retirement and now volunteer in several places. Life is ever changing and exciting. I will always be a Justice of the Peace.

More about me

I've  always lived in Eastern Massachusetts but love traveling.   I've been to 22 United States and Canada.

Although I am fluent only in English, I have studied other languages, Greek, Russian, Spanish, and Hebrew,   It is my hope to  attempt Asian languages.

I encourage interpreters at ceremonies  at which guests  do not understand English.
